Description: Basic chip carving is the application of a repeating geometric pattern to a piece of wood. We’ll use the two basic knives to learn how to sharpen the edge, how to apply a pattern to wood, and the basic carving techniques needed to create your own set of 4 coasters with a pyramid motif using a fundamental triangle.
